Can I change the output format?

Yes. Choose PNG, JPEG, or WebP before processing. A lossy format such as JPEG can change image quality.

Are the four parts the same size?

Yes when the source width and height are both divisible by two. Odd dimensions can leave a one-pixel remainder at an outer edge.
