Images are processed in your browser when supported and within local limits. Files that require server processing are uploaded securely and deleted within 72 hours after completion.
What is the maximum file size I can convert?+
Maximum file and batch sizes depend on your current plan, processing route, browser, and device memory. Files that exceed local limits may be routed to remote processing when supported.
Can I convert multiple images at once?+
Yes. Upload one image or a batch up to your current limit. Download results individually or as a ZIP file.
What happens to transparent images?+
JPG has no transparency. Transparent pixels are flattened to the background color you choose before encoding, whether conversion runs locally or on the server.
Can I convert animated GIFs to JPG?+
Yes, but only the first frame of the animation will be converted. JPG is a static format and cannot preserve animation. For animated output, consider converting to WebP instead.
What is progressive JPG encoding?+
Progressive JPEG normally loads in successive passes. The current control is a preference and is not applied by every processing route, so verify the downloaded file if this encoding detail matters.
